Manpower is looking for an experienced Benefits Administrator with Pension benefits knowledge The job is located in Norwood, MA Monday - Friday 8-5pm PAYING $26.50 AN HOUR This assignment will be for 4 months possibly longer TO BE CONSIDERED YOU MUST HAVE HUMAN RESOURCES PENSION BENEFITS EXPERIENCE Job Description 2-3 years benefits administration experience required (working with pensions) MS Office proficient: Word - update docs, Excel: basic functions - v, h lookups, match, if and sum functions, visual basic experience helpful, Access: some experience preferred Some prior calculations experience - automated (ex: certain parameters are entered into tool, click a button for calc) and manual (not necessarily pen/paper, doing calc outside system, i.e. Excel) calculations Has a general understanding of actuarial concepts SQL experience preferred (executed SQL ok, written SQL preferred) A Client Services Analyst - Defined Benefits provides support to Client Services Team Leads and client contacts by serving as a subject matter expert and as a technical systems resource for the benefit plans and employee populations of their assigned clients through the daily administration of processes, case management and project work. To fulfill this role, the Analyst will: *Perform standard and complex pension benefit calculations *Manage administrative and case management issues as well as data processing activities on a daily basis *Monitor project schedules to ensure timelines and deliverables are met; notify project manager or client if timelines are in jeopardy *Test and analyze system configuration against requirement documents during implementation and administration *Meet with project managers and clients to define project scope and objectives, prepare work plans, documenting project's scope and review with client(s) Qualifications: BA/BS degree preferred One to three years experience preferred or equivalent industry experience Experience in specific domains of HR administration (Defined Benefits/Pension Plans) is strongly preferred Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously Proficient with Microsoft Access, Excel and Word Experience with prior software implementation and training desired Good analytical skills Ability to work within a team environment Strong self-starter, fast learner, quality conscious, committed to deadlines Knowledge of SQL is a plus Strong oral and written communication, attention to detail and teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
