About this job
We currently have full-time and part-time teaching positions available.
Part-Time 3pm-6pm, M-F (could be more hours as a sub for full time staff when/if available)
Full-Time 9:00am/9:30am-6pm, M-F
Must be reliable, flexible, energetic and have a positive outlook. Candidate must be nurturing and caring, who enjoys teaching and interacting with young children. Excellent communication skills and professional in all interactions.
Must have or obtain within 30 days of hire (all training must be KDHE approved training courses or college courses):
CPR / First Aid certification
Abuse Neglect with Head Trauma training
Signs & Symptoms of Illness Training
Basic Child Development Training
Safe Sleep Practices / SIDS training
A Health Form signed by a doctor with negative TB test is also required within 30 days of hire.
Teacher Responsibilities Include:
Planning & Implementing Weekly lesson plans.
Daily & weekly communication with families.
Following a daily schedule and developing classroom routines.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and caring environment.
Adhering to all state regulations.
Flexibility with scheduled hours.
