The Safety/Compliance Lead provides safety process and compliance leadership for a group of 3 - 4 stores. This position fosters a zero incident safety culture and ensures compliance with applicable regulations safety and fleet safety regulations.
Requirements
- Conduct daily store safety - coaching walks.
- Complete weekly Safety Observations in each assigned store and validate the implementation of prior corrective actions.
- Conduct/oversee the completion of daily/weekly safety inspections and checklists in each assigned location.
- Lead the Safety Committee meetings in each assigned store, including development of agendas and minutes.
- Lead the completion of the monthly safety committee action checklist activities.
- Manage safety recordkeeping manuals and training completion documentation.
- Participate in random safety activities: incident investigations, new hire orientation process, audits, and leadership of new safety strategy initiative implementation.
- Travel between assigned locations.
