Mechanical Design Engineer

A small manufacturer of highly engineered niche products for the aerospace, military and medical markets requires a "hands on", creative team member to add to an elite engineering department.

Responsibilities

- Conceptualization, Design, Development and Testing of Electro-Mechanical Components and Assemblies
- Prototype, Manufacture, and Release to Production of new designs - Mechanical & Electrical
- Work closely with Electrical Engineers and Production/Manufacturing with Phase & Product Design Reviews
- Create Mechanical drawings, Assembly Diagrams, Schematics, Wiring Diagrams and Work Instructions

Qualifications/Requirements

- Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering
- CAD design (solidworks, pro-e, catia)
- Design experience in Aerospace

*LED lighting experience is a plus
