About this job

This position entails, providing support for a wide variety of activities in Human Resources including but not limited to employee relations, recruiting, developing and maintaining HR programs. The incumbent will handle heavy administrative, filing, data entry, mail outs, answering of phones, and the delivery of Service Excellence to internal/external candidates.

Recruitment
- Attend Job Fairs
- Conduct reference and background checks
- Create requests to payout invoices of pre-employment contingencies, recruitment advertisements and job fair dues
- Create mail outs and transmit emails of correspondence to applicants in no longer in recruitment process
- Create new hire packets in preparation to orientation
- Coordinate and support with career events
- Maintains records and prepares reports of hires, separations, promotions, transfers, test results, and other data as requested
- Ensures confidentiality of personnel information
- Participates in recruitment and selection research projects and recommends changes to the process to increase attraction and retention of highly qualified applicants
- Complies with federal, state and local regulations by administering employment practices within standard operating procedures
- Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results in a cooperative and supportive manner
- Handbook Acknowledgment sheets
- Ensure all paperwork filled out correctly
- Develop / Implement / Support Employee Relations Program
- Responds to all inquiries from general public / personnel on position responsibilities and/or availability
