Cable Technician needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Portsmouth, VA.
Possession of a Security Clearance is required as a condition for employment.
Top Skills Should You Possess:
- MUST have an active Security clearance
- Must have industry certification: Certifications: A+ Cert, Network+ Cert, CNNA Cert, MTA or MCTS Cert
- Experienced with installation, repair and maintenance of copper/fiber optic cabling
- Demonstrate understanding of TIA / EIA standards.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Install, repair and maintenance of copper / fiber optic cabling
- Provide connectivity to existing network and legacy network
- Provide field services and infrastructure support for ship and barge moves with in shipyard / buildings and spaces.
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Certifications: A+ Cert, Network+ Cert, CNNA Cert, MTA or MCTS Cert.
- Active Secret clearance
- Four to nine (4-9) years of related experience in information systems.
