About this job
Purpose: The purpose of this position is to assist the Marketing Team in administrative duties, organization, correspondence, project and task management, while providing 4-Diamond guest service for both our internal and external guests.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assist other Associates and/or customers as much as possible in the absence of the director and/or other admins
* Answer phones: direct calls to appropriate director and/or associate, or determine and perform the necessary action for incoming calls
* Creation of correspondence, filing, copying, scanning, and faxing
* Assess immediate situations and the priority of each; delegate when appropriate and provide independent follow through as required
* Schedule meetings and interviews
* Field and distribute mail for Directors and Marketing department
* Create, run, and analyze reports in an accurate and efficient manner
* Understand Omni Hotels sales and business processes, supports Corporate and Hotel's goals and contributes to enhancement of customer value
* Organize activities and resources in a manner that maximizes productivity and efficiency
Job Requirements
* 1 year Minimum previous experience working in a professional office setting, preferably in an administrative role
* Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
* Proactive and self-motivated
* Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
* Professional communication skills, both oral and written
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and re-prioritize when necessary
* Strong statistical analysis skills
* Must be a team player within the region and contribute positive energy
* Be a self-starter with a positive attitude
