Sparton is seeking Production Operators for a variety of positions on 1st and 2nd shift. Sparton Corporation is a large and well established manufacturing company that specializes in Medical and Biotechnology, Military and Aerospace, and Industrial and Commercial products.

At Sparton in Watertown, Production Operators may be responsible for soldering, box build, testing, machine operation, or other duties to produce medical devices. Prior assembly experience is not required!

Current openings include:

• SMT Machine Operator
• Box Build Assembler
• Post Wave Operator

These positions offer benefits including medical, dental, vision, holiday pay, and paid time off accrual.

• 1st Shift: 5am to 3pm Monday through Thursday, will overtime as needed on Fridays or Saturdays.
• 2nd Shift: 3pm to 1am Monday through Thursday, with overtime as needed on Fridays or Saturdays.
• Pay: $9.75 to $11.50 per hour, depending on experience
• Location: Watertown, SD

Education and Experience: Completion of high school or GED or equivalent. Previous experience in electronic field or machine operation helpful. Must be able to sit/stand for long periods. Good hand-eye coordination and finger dexterity necessary. Have ability to follow written directions. Must be able to lift 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
