Equipment Operator - Full-time / Part-time

Heavy Equipment Operator

Schedule: Monday - Friday 1st Shift (40-60 hours/wk)

Pay Rate: $18-$20/hr (based on years of experience)

Job Description:

• Operate all heavy equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant
• Must have at least 2-3 years of experience with dozers or backhoes
• Must be able to operate CAT, John Deere, and Hitachi equipment with minimal supervision
• legislation, policies and procedures
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
• Clean heavy equipment as scheduled and/or required
• Ensure heavy equipment is safely and securely stored
• Advise the Public Works Foreman of any requirements for maintenance or repairs
• Participate in routine maintenance
• Maintain inventory
• Digging trenches
• Oil or gas experience is a plus
