Job Summary: Kirkwood's Transportation team is looking to hire a full time Transportation Lead for the 2015-16 winter season! The Transportation Lead is in charge of maintaining and controlling our shuttle service. We are looking for organized individuals who have great communication skills and upbeat professional attitudes.

Additional responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
  • Opening and closing duties within the Transportation department.
  • Assisting with Transportation set up and evaluating Transportation procedures on peak days.
  • Being aware of traffic flow
  • Snow Removal
  • Overseeing cleanliness and timliness of shuttles
  • Communicating shuttle routes
  • Being knowledgeable of Kirkwood Mountain Resort and able to assist and answer questions from guest when needed.
  • Upbeat can-do attitude.
  • Adhere to all grooming standards.
  • Able to follow and enforce Transportation procedures to Vail Resorts standards.


Requirements:
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, and holidays;
  • Able to work in all weather conditions;
  • Able to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
  • Able to sit down for an extended period of time
  • Excellent customer service
  • Flexible schedule
  • Transportation experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Able to pass 7 year background check
  • Experience driving in the snow
  • Supervisor experience
  • CDL


Preferred skills:
  • Great service attitude;
  • CDL
  • Able to multitask;
  • Parking experience;
  • Resort knowledge.
  • DOT Knowledge
