Overview:


A Delivery Supervisor is responsible for the efficient delivery and merchandising of company products while meeting company objectives and goals. This person is responsible for the skills development of assigned Pre-Sell and Tel-Sell Delivery Merchandisers through leading and proper training techniques. The Delivery Supervisor will also be involved in directing the trainees through the training program to make sure all tasks are completed. This position is also responsible for tracking vacation schedules and assigning Route Specialists as needed to cover open routes.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Lead, develop and mentor a Pre-Sell and Tel-Sell Delivery Merchandising group to achieve a high performance team oriented environment.
  • Ensure superior customer service & foster a customer service environment.
  • Improve and monitor Pre-Sell and Tel-Sell delivery indicators.
  • Foster an atmosphere where safety is a priority with an emphasis on protecting company assets.
  • Utilize available tools (Route Tools, Margin Minder, etc.) to evaluate and identify routing efficiency opportunities.
  • Consistent follow up through route rides to ensure that company quality and merchandising standards are met.
  • Maintain high quality standards.


Qualifications:
  • 3 years sales experience is strongly preferred.
  • 3 years management experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in training, managing & leading a delivery staff is strongly preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of and ability to apply, coach and train others on CCBCC principles, policies and procedures.
  • An excellent job history of merchandising & quality control as well as product display, stocking & space to inventory required.
  • Ability to work a schedule that meets the needs of the business (including working 5:30am until completion & working some weekends and holidays, as needed).
  • Strong computer skills & knowledge of MS Office.
  • Must have excellent communication, prioritizing, decision making and organizational skills.
  • Excellent driving record required.
  • Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.
  • High School diploma or equivalency required; 4 year college degree is preferred.
  • Strong Leadership experience required.
