Laboratory Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Candidates will be working in the quality control laboratory. Candidates in this position will using hands on Microbiology lab techniques; plating, steaking, allergen swabbing. Candidates will be making media and augers, perform quality tests on products and product release. Candidates will also be responsible for documentation.

Candidates will be communicating with a senior microbiologist from an 3rd party company. High communication will be needed to update the 3rd party testing company on results of test, future testing, analysis of findings, ect. This communication will be via email or telephone.
Candidates must be comfortable lifting and moving product that could weigh up to 50 lbs.
Candidates will be trained and heavily involved in food safety/quality audits with packaging vendors. They must be comfortable with communicating with internal employees at all levels- production team,

Must Haves:

• Four year Life Science Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry
• Must be open to working 12hour shifts
• Must be open to working 3rd shift
