Assembler

Aerotek is hiring on behalf of one of our clients in Bridgeview, IL. They are looking assemblers to join their team!

Job Duties include:

-receiving larger materials such as aluminium and metal and assembling frames

-using pneumatic and hand held tools
-utilizing blueprints and tape measurers
-performing basic quality checks on frames
-loading materials onto lines where glass is placed in them
-cleaning work areas and following safety procedures
-loading materials into specialized wooden crates
-fitting glass into frame
-cleaning glass
-caulking frames
-assembling wooden crates per order using hand and power tools
-loading and unloading assembly lines
-keeping track of inventory and proper parts per order
-assembling structures according to written specifications
-packing finished structures
-first shift M-F 6:30am-3:00pm
Potential for OT until 5pm and occasional Saturdays but NOT guaranteed.
