Carpenter - Full-time

First Coast Contractors is looking for an experienced full time Carpenter with at least 2 yrs of experience. Must be detailed oriented, able to work independently, and proficient in reading blueprints.Applicants must possess the following:Must have a valid driver's license.Must have their own tools. Must have knowledge of commercial and residential construction, trades, practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, cost control, and safety. Operate all types of woodworking equipment to include: table saw, radial saw, drill, etc. Proficient at the following tasks: framing walls, layout for stairs and common rafters, hanging drywall, hanging doors, setting windows, trim work, setting posts for pergolas,and fence construction.Excellent mathematical skills and analytical skills necessary to do material estimates. Must be a highly reliable individual with good organizational skills and be able to work unsupervised.Great interpersonal and communications skills to effectively lead a crew and interact with customers.Ability to lift and manipulate objects of up to 80 lbs or more.Assist in loading and unloading building materials from delivery trucks.Comply and follow all necessary safety procedures when performing assigned responsibilities.
