About this job

Ensure assigned bankruptcy loans are handled in compliance with company policies and procedures, investor guidelines, state laws, federal bankruptcy code, and regulating agencies. Review plans and determine whether the plan is acceptable to investor and recommend action to protect the lien. Accurate and timely referral of loans in bankruptcy to outside council to initiate the filing of a motion for relief, objection to plan, etc. within court, company and investor imposed deadlines. Monitor bankruptcy timelines to ensure outside counsel is completing bankruptcy milestones and communicate with attorney firms when necessary to get work completed. Document status on all loan files with MSP and LPS Desktop servicing platforms to manage bankruptcy processes and complete required tasks on loans. Prepare Proof of Claims for filing approval
Monitor deadlines for Proof of Claims. Prepare and send Amended/Supplemental Proof of Claims when necessary
Audit and review POCs pre and post filing.


*** They will be focusing on filling out and sending forms to the courts in regards to bankruptcies.****

MUST HAVES:

1. Must have strong attention to detail
2. Must have come from or worked in a production environment where they were expected to meet goals on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
