Vail Mountain is now hiring Ski and Snowboard School Support Staff!

Job Summaries:

3-6 Children's Center Attendants Provide childcare and required organizational tasks at the Children's Ski and Snowboard School Centers. They are reponsible for daily supervision, care and hygiene of registered children.

3-6 Children's Center Star Riders Act as a ski aide for 3-6 year old classes on the beginner hill. They will ride the beginner lift with 3-6 year olds, help children load and unload the chair lift, and assist children with bathrooms breaks when skiing on the beginner hill.

The Children's Center Cook Oversees all functions of the Children's Center kitchen, including preparation of lunches and snacks for the 3-6 ski school programs and for the Small World Nursery in accordance with Colorado health requirements for a food service establishment.

7-Teen Inside Helpers Help register 7-Teen students each morning and direct to proper meeting location. They will answer phone and guest questions, and help 7-Teen outdoor supervisors with daily operations.

Rental Techs Help with the daily fitting of skis and snowboards for children in ski school. They assist with ski valet duties, labeling and storing skis for guests as well. We also have Rental Tech Lead positions, which are accountable for 5 rental shop employees in the absence of the rental shop Supervisor.

Requirements:
  • Individuals who are passionate about guest service and the hospitality/ski industry
  • Previous experience working with children and families
  • English Proficiency, Spanish a plus
  • Able to work the entire season (November 2015 – April 2016)
  • Some experience in guest service
  • Flexibility is a must, and typically most hours will be on weekends and holidays.
