Get ready to start doing your life's best work.The Dental Operations Manager is responsible for management and administration of multiple functions, or management of general business operations within Claims Department.
Primary Responsibilities:

Reports to Dental Director
Supports Dental Director in the annual dental operations planning processes
Analysis and management of daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to internal health plan leadership, inter-department, and Arizona State Regulator (AHCCCS)
Create, supervise, and execute annual dental work plan, and work plan evaluation
 Create standard operating procedures that align with Regulator compliance guidelines
Create, supervise, and execute corrective action plans to Regulator compliance guidelines
Project management of performance improvement projects
Project management of dental operations projects related to claims, authorization, and network systems
Oversight of dental network, including contracting, credentialing, and recruitment operations
Support, enhance, and foster provider relations
Support and lead dental team
Secondary Duties Include:

Liaison between health plan and dental vendor
Liaison between health plan and community organizations
Attend quarterly AHCCCS workgroup meetings, and deliver associated tasks
Identify opportunities for collaboration with local, and national organizations

Requirements

Requirements:


Associates degree or 5+ years equivalent experience.
3+ years supervisory/managerial experience in claims adjudication or customer service
2+ years managing relationships with clients and/or vendors
2+ years managing budgets, process improvement and quality assurance
Fundamental proficiency with  Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPointAssets:


Bachelors degree or higher
Understanding of claims processing systems
5+ years of healthcare claims leadership experience
2+ years of experience developing presentations to include charting
