The job is located in Northborough, MA Monday - Friday 8-5pm PAYING $13 - $15 AN HOUR

Job Description
Responsible for visitor reception, answering phone line, routing calls to appropriate individual, taking and forwarding messages. Ensures visitor control by maintaining visitor log and issuing visitor badges. Provides word processing and other secretarial duties for the Plant Manager and/or other facility management.
Welcomes visitors by greeting them in person or on the phone in a friendly and professional manner.
Directs visitors by providing instructions and answering questions or referring to appropriate internal staff.
Maintains security by monitoring visitor logbook, issuing and controlling visitor badges and controlling entry to facility from main entrance.
Contributes to effective internal communications by receiving, distributing and/or sending mail and faxes in an orderly and accurate manner.
Ensures that mail received by the facility is properly distributed and that outgoing mail is properly handled.
Supports other office personnel by performing requested tasks under supervision. Other duties within the support role may include preparation of irradiation runs, dosimeter placement sheets, processing files and Certificates of Processing; reproducing and forward of Customer files and documentation, closure of process records, filing and archiving; invoicing and accounts payable.
Provides word processing and other secretarial duties for the Plant Manager and/or other facility management.
Contributes in a team effort by performing according to the guidelines outlined in the Code of Business Conduct, the GMP and other directives; supporting the directives and decisions of higher level management; accomplishing other duties as assigned.
Communicates in an effective manner by utilizing accepted business practices in a courteous and professional manner providing timely and accurate responses and service oriented offers of assistance.
Contributes to maintaining a safe and clean working environment by performing routine area housekeeping and reporting any unsafe conditions to facility management.
Protects company confidential information by properly storing, retrieving and disseminating such information only to those authorized.
Education/License Requirements
High School diploma or GED.
Experience Requirements (Skills, Knowledge and Abilities)
Requires
A minimum of two (2) years experience in clerical and reception work. Six (6) months experience in the use of spreadsheets and word-processing applications.
Ability to effectively read, write and verbally communicate in English.
Ability to work independently under general guidelines and supervision.
Requires computer literacy to include word processing, spreadsheet and software capabilities, minimum of Level 2 math skills (four basic arithmetic functions in all units of measurement, decimals ratios, rates, percentages).
Effective interpersonal skills as demonstrated through prior experience.
Ability to adapt to changing duties and responsibilities.
