Test Technician

Aerotek CE is seeking a Test Technician for a growing company in the Portland, OR area. This is a 3 month contract.

You will be responsible for:

• Setup and conduct tests of new products or components.
• Build fixtures and equipment using fabrication and machining skills.
• Assemble and prepare product for test.
• Modify parts for testing when needed
• Setup and operate equipment such as strain gauges, accelerometers, frequency analyzers, sound meters, oscilloscopes, and precision measure equipment.
• Record test conditions and results.

Qualifications:

• Associates preferred and 1+ years of experience.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite (MS Excel, Word, and Outlook).
• Ability to research components, BOMs and obsolescence histories.
• Understanding of business systems including item and bill of material definition
• Self Motivated.
• High attention to detail.
• Good organization skills.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills required to facilitate communication between departments.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills required.
