Restaurant Manager (aka Café Supervisor)

The Cafe Supervisor assists in providing leadership in the Cafe by directing and managing the associates and activities of the department. Ensures excellent customer service, assists in replenishment of bar and server items, and implements merchandising initiatives to stimulate the growth of the business while meeting customer requirements and maximizing profits. This position requires open scheduling availability.

Responsibilities:
Assists with the management of the Cafe Staff including trouble shooting, training, mentoring, and coordinating with the General Manager regarding disciplinary actions. Ensures proper stock management including inventory control.

? Promotes team work, coaches, develops and trains department associates, minimizes turnover, promotes efficiency.
? Assists with marketing menu items and all bar products effectively to maximize sales.
? Works in conjunction with General Manager in determining appropriate pricing of products.
? Ensures proper functioning of Soft Touch software.
? Notifies General Manager and/or Maintenance Technician of any equipment needing repair.
? Maintains good relations with vendor contacts.
? Maintains a safe and clean environment to ensure health code and OSHA requirements are met.

Qualifications:
? High School education or equivalent
? At least 5 years' experience in retail
? At least 3 years' experience in restaurant
? Supervisory experience desirable
? Demonstrated leadership ability
? Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task
