The Senior Manager, Client Services/Implementation Analytics leads the data/analytic and ID card, end-to-end implementations accountabilities, for the Client Services/Implementation (CSI) team.  In this dynamic role you will interact with multiple layers of OptumRx, UnitedHealth Group and ID card vendor to ensure implementations are completed on time and accurate.  You will be challenged to analyze, review, produce, and forecast data for CSI operational and business planning. 
 
In conjunction with Implementation and Client Management teams, the Senior Manager will validate the pharmacy ID card needs for the customer and execute working with internal operations teams and card vendor the production and mailings of the cards. This role will be responsible for the coordination with the Optum Rx Account/ Implementation Management team to ensure the member ID card production is executed accurately and on time. This includes understanding the card type, the timing of member eligibility and the extract from core systems. The Senior Manager will also ensuring the data files to the vendor, on a daily basis, is sent and review all reject reports as well as work with client teams on file issues and custom requirements.
 
As the data analytics leader for CSI, this role will present analysis and interpretation for operational and business review and planning. The Senior Manager will also support short and long term operational/strategic business activities through analysis and develop recommended business solutions through research and analysis of data and business process and implement when appropriate.  The incumbent will also develop, analyze and deliver recurring operational reports.
 
 
Primary Responsibilities:

Coordinate efforts with internal departments for the creation of pharmacy ID cards for new and existing clients 
Acts as point of contact for ID card questions from client management and sales
Coordinate daily data feeds to vendor and issue resolution
Monitor daily reports and seeing trends of issues or over limit activities
Work with internal Operations teams for the data and scheduling of work for card operations
Manage implementation custom ID card scope changes and resolution
Develop core tracking and metrics to represent workload through operations area
Facilitate vendor enhancements and maintenance, additionally production issues and resolution
Coordinate delivery of all CSI data and metric reporting to support performance statistics, status reporting, and strategic planning
Develop, analyze and deliver recurring operational reports, including quarterly performance guarantee reporting
Monitor, track and report status and performance
 
Less than 10% travel required.
 

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in the pharmacy benefit management industry (mandatory)
3+ years of experience in an operations/ vendor role
Intermediate proficiency with MS Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
High school diploma or GED
 
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with operations team processes and reporting
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to work independently
