Everyone remembers their first time skiing or snowboarding! Our instructors are a large part of creating this kind of unforgettable experience for our guests. We are seeking passionate applicants to fill the position of Ski or Snowboard Instructor to teach beginner to intermediate lessons and create these unforgettable experiences.

Job Responsibilities
  • Create a safe and fun learning environment for your students while teaching them a sport you love!
  • Encourage student enthusiasm for skiing/Snowboarding, the learning process, and the further development of contemporary skills from never-ever up to beginning skiing/snowboarding on blue terrain.
  • As a part of the student’s lesson experience, instructors are required to assist with other duties, including but not limited to: check in, kids’ program lunch, set up of beginner areas, and other responsibilities and tasks as needed.
  • Instructors must take part in training clinics and be knowledgeable about lift use and resort information.
  • Work outside during all weather conditions in a fast paced, potentially high-pressure environment.


The Ideal Candidate:
  • Is energetic and excited to teach people of all ages a sport they love.
  • Presents a professional presentation. Adheres to all Appearance and Dress Standards
  • Delivers superior service while sharing a passion and creating the next generation of skiers/snowboarders.
  • Thinks quickly and acts appropriately in a situation or when dealing with guests needs, to ensure safety is not compromised and a desirable outcome is achieved.
  • Is able to take initiative, is highly organized, and effectively communicates with and can engage groups of all ages, patience is a must!
  • Identifies guest’s needs and gathers information in a given situation to solve problems and improve guest service. Knows when to seek advice or request assistance to achieve a desirable outcome
  • Is a good role model, has high integrity, is honest, and adaptable. Demonstrates team work by collaborating with and treating others with courtesy and respect.
  • Has strong intermediate skiing / snowboarding ability combined with the willingness and demonstrated aptitude to learn ski / snowboard instructing.


Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years old and be an intermediate to advanced skier/snowboarder.
  • Experience working with people and any teaching or instructing experience valued.


Additional Requirements:
  • Must meet one of our flexible scheduling options.
  • Successfully attend and complete the Ski/ Snowboard training camp.
