Position Purpose:

You will play a vital role in the success of the FPD Department and Cargill Kitchen Solutions. As a Cargill Stakeholder, you will develop a deep understanding of production responsibilities, assess and initiate opportunities for improvement. You will create and promote a team-building environment, which promotes customer and stakeholder enthusiasm. Additionally, you are responsible for executing safety initiatives and communicating safety awareness. This position will assure all HACCP's, OPRP's, and SOP's are executed as planned. This position will play a vital role in meeting business and departmental goals and milestones. Lastly, you will have the opportunity to focus on training and development to further your career with Cargill Kitchen Solutions.

Principal Accountabilities:

80%: Accountable for the production of food safe product in a fast paced manufacturing environment; assists the team with startup and shut down of a production line, making mechanical adjustments, chemical training and usage, assist with training, review and implementation of programs. Accountable for making decisions about production including responsibility and accountability in supervisor's absence.

10%:Maintain adherence to all Corporate Environmental Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.

10%: This position shall have the responsibility to report problems with the food safety management system to identified person(s). This position has the responsibility and authority to initiate and record actions. Acquire and maintain knowledge of HACCP/OPRP/PRP (GMP) policies and requirements to complete all monitoring and/or verifications tasks as outlined in the Food Safety Management

Hours 9pm - 7am Monday - Thursday

Days and hours may vary, weekend/holiday work may be required.

Pay $17.70/ hour plus $0.50 premium from 2pm - 6am

Incentive eligible after 6 months of start date

Benefit eligible 1st of month following start date including all medical, holiday, and paid vacation

Required:

Positive Attitude, problem solving skills and effective communication with team members.

Be physically able to perform the job duties including extended periods of standing, bending, stooping, shoveling, sweeping, and repeatedly lifting up to 40 lbs.

Basic math skills, ability to read scales and complete daily paperwork for all liquid lines.

Basic computer ability needed to create, release and close process orders in SAP.

Mechanical ability to adjust equipment to maintain weights and minimal waste of packaging and assemble and disassemble machines.

Availability to work outside of normal shift up to including weekends, holidays, and off shift hours as needed.

Preferred:

Previous food manufacturing and mechanical experience.

Willingness to advance skillset.

Previous experience leading a team.

Previous SAP experience
