Maintenance Tech II

Essential Job Duties:

The primary Function of this position is to maintain, repair, replace, adjust and modify the facilities tools and equipment, as well as the building and its ground, according to set schedule and in emergency and non-emergency situations

• Strictly adhere to safety regulations and plant policies
• Obtain work scheduled from supervisor, obtain supplies required to perform the work and prepare for operations.
• Replace, repair, Adjust and modify building plumbing, electrical, mechanical or hydraulic equipment as needed.
• Maintain forklifts and pallet jacks, and maintain charging equipment.
• Perform scheduled maintenance duties and special projects as needed.
• Prepare list(s) of parts and supplies for maintenance projects to order from outside vendors as needed.
• Perform outside building and grounds maintenance duties as needed.
• Supervise and assist outside contractors on special maintenance projects.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in the work area as needed.
• At the end of the shift secures all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.

Requirements:

Skills/Knowledge: Strong knowledge & experience in working with screw machines, Drillers, Tappers, and other manufacturing equipment, as well as troubleshooting the above mentioned machines.

• Must be results oriented, self-motivated & able to work with limited supervision.
