About this job

Providence is calling a Medical Assistant to Providence Medical Group in Spokane, WA.

This is a full time position for Occupational Medicine.

In this position you will:

Work closely with physicians and mid-level providers (i.e. nurse practitioners, etc.) to help ensure the delivery of high quality patient care

Apply your knowledge, skills, and experience in patient interactions that take place both in person and over the telephone

Required qualifications for this position include:

Graduate of an accredited certified Medical Assistant program.

Completion of the certification exam through one of the following: AAMA, AMT, NHA, NCCT, or certification within one year of hire.

BLS -- healthcare provider (must be AHA accredited) within 90 days of hire.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

One year of previous experience in physician office preferred.
