Demonstrate sound leadership skills and utilizes these skills in organizing the activities and schedules for medical and/or non-medical tasks of the adult for a given shift and of consistently high quality of clinical and interpersonal skills to be exemplary role model to others; displays basic knowledge of treatment procedure; interventions common to acute psychotic as well as non-violent crises intervention practice; basic knowledge of abnormal psychology as typically found in the adult psychiatric population; application of this knowledge to adult nursing care.
One year of experience as an RN preferred.
Special Qualifications: Current Louisiana State Registered Nurse License; CPR Certification upon hire; ACLS Certification within 90 days of hire.
Skills: Strong critical thinking and assessment skills. Must be able to take and give directions.
