Job Description:
The Field Engineer is a vital part of the Engineering team and assumes a lead role in all activities with
regards to the field walkout operations including but not limited to obtaining all actual information as detailed
in project guidelines, discussing projects with customers and researching information necessary to gather all
data.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Monitor and maintain schedule to meet customer specifications.
* Verify work performed to invoices turned is accurate and complete.
* Meet regularly with key personnel to ensure quality, timelines and guideline specification are followed, and that stated goals and objectives are met.
* Responsible for assisting in implementing corrective actions, as assigned, on any project in order to meet cost targets, quality, schedules, and customer satisfaction.
* Map existing and new build fiber and coax plant to specifications.

Required Knowledge and Skills:
* 5+ years of cable mapping experience a must.
* Knowledge of cable design and construction of cable systems.
* Detailed knowledge of fielding process and/or construction practices a must.
* Ability to read maps.
* Strong analytical, observation and communication skills.
* Ability to learn new software and technologies.
* Ability to deal with field issues and confrontation effectively and in a timely manner.
* Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word & Outlook a must.
* Must be able to work outdoors.
* Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
* Must be highly responsible and self motivated.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks at a time.
* Must be able to produce clean legible drawings of cable plant.

Additional Information:
* This is a production-based position.
* Vehicle and necessary tools are provided for work.
* Hours vary outside of the typical Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
