The Clinical Business Informatics Specialist will serve the
hospital in a variety of roles, must have current Registered Nurse licensure. The
person in this role will be the point of contact for HMS advanced clinical to
include, daily revenue and daily ancillary charge reconciliation requirements,
oversee system upgrades, training of staff and physicians, and implementation
of any new clinical applications and systems. system product lines. The person will be responsible for the build,
implementation, training, and maintenance of CPOE. Will be the Super User for Business Objects.
As such, the person in this role will be responsible for developing, creating,
and running Business Objects reports and queries, and responding to questions
related to Business Objects from other users within the facility. Manages all aspects of HCAHPS initiatives and
education: i.e. Actively schedules,
plans, facilitates meetings, assigns projects and initiatives to members of the
Leadership Team in collaboration with the CNO, implementations and customer
service initiatives to include education regarding HCAHPS to staff and
overseeing committee functions. This position leads meaningful use initiatives
and ensures compliance with meeting all criteria. This position will take calls
related to HMS and CPOE issues during regular and off hours. Any other assigned duties as the facility
sees fit for the position. Collaboration for decisions will be done through the

Education: Associates's degree in a related field.
Experience
2 years clinical experience required, 2 years IT experience preferred
Special Requirements : Must have
current NM RN licensure or compact licensure.
Must have ability to
understand/problem
solve and interpret issues that arrive from clinical
areas as per IT usage.
