SUMMARY:
Receives payment for products or services sold by the dealership.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receives cash, checks and credit card payments from customers; records amount received.
Provides refunds to customers for returned merchandise or as directed by managers.
Reconciles cash draw monthly.
Maintains extended warranty schedules payable and receivable.
Assists (warranty clerk) in maintaining factory warranty schedules.
Maintains all cash clearing schedules.
Reconciles and deposits service and parts receipts, including charge cards, on a daily basis.
Receipts all monies received from vehicle sales and checks for money due.
Files all cash receipt records, check stubs, and bank receipts.
Prepares cash deposits and fills out the cash control sheet daily.
Processes daily credit card deposits.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintains a professional appearance.
Keeps work area neat and clean.
Arrives to work on time.
Follows instructions from a supervisor.
Interacts effectively with co-workers.
Understands and follows work rules and procedures.
Accepts constructive criticism.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
