Position Purpose

The Learning Program Specialist (LPS) is responsible the overall health of learning programs and the Knowledge Depot (KD) Learning Management System. The LPS is responsible for the day-to-day administration of KD to include gathering requirements, making recommendations and executing key learning strategies. The LPS executes all levels of the execution strategy, implementing the strategy for every audience involved in the program to effectively measure execution.

The LPS analyzes data to spot trends and provide recommendations for program and system improvements. Serving as the lead contact for all KD administrators, the LPS must be customer-focused with a positive attitude in difficult situations in order to effectively provide direction, delegate tasks and respond to critical customer/associate issues with clear, concise and timely communication. The LPS is additionally responsible for constantly moving programs and KD forward by managing on-going maintenance and enhancement projects end-to-end. The LPS manages communication, on-site logistics and key program partnerships to execute local events and large-scale vendor-led roadshows.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
- Executes evaluation strategy to measure ROI for the program
- Analyzes data (evaluations, expense trends, training tracking) to make key decisions and recommendations to improve the program
- Lead contact for Learning Administrators, providing direction, delegating tasks and handling critical customer issues
- Negotiates vendor pricing
- Manages key program partnershipsis the contact for partners seeking approval on program expenditures
- Organizes and executes travel and on-site logistics

Nature and Scope
Typically reports to a Program Manager

Environmental Job Requirements
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must pass the Drug Test.
Must pass Background Check.
Must pass pre-employment test if applicable.

Education Required 
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.

Years of Relevant Work Experience - 2

Physical Job Requirements - Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about; occasionally there may be a need to stoop or lift light objects (typically less than 8 pounds).

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent degree in related field
- Experience with the administration of Learning Management Systems and Sharepoint
- Experience with needs analysis, learning data analysis and report design
- Experience managing projects
