Job Summary: Client Relations Manager
The Assistant Manger is the primary point of contact between BFFE and our human clients. The Assistant Manger ensures that the client is smoothly transitioned from a new customer to a happy client with a long-term relationship with our business. The Assistant Manger coordinates different levels of service for the dogs (grooming, training, day care, overnights) and serves as a communications conduit with the client. BFFE operates 24/7 365 days per year.

Job Responsibilities:
Logistics & Front Office Management
* Ensure proper check in protocol is followed daily regarding payment and dogs vaccine status
* Receive pass down from overnight shift
* Ensure all dogs are entered correctly and completely into the days records
* Maintain daily financial records
* Fix last minute scheduling issues as needed to ensure a smooth flow through out the day
*Determine handler number for various shifts (day and night)
*Maintain appointment records to ensure proper staffing
* Order supplies as needed
* Develop promotional materials (print, products)
* Update website as needed.
* Maintain client personal records to ensure update information
Client Communications
* Ensure owners are properly notified regarding health, behavioral and time out issues during the day
* Handle customer complaints in an appropriate manner
* Conduct periodic client conversations to educate the client about other services and schedule as appropriate.

Human Resources
* Assist in development of new HR policies and procedures.
* Participate in interviews of new employees and assist in the hiring process
* Ensure employees are clocking in/out as expected and maintain pay roll and time clock records
* Ensure new hire paperwork is completed thoroughly and maintain in files
* Coach and develop handlers, operations managers, and shift leaders. Provide constructive feedback as needed. Provide progressive discipline as needed.

Minimum Requirements
* Associates Degree or equivalent in work experience
* Genuine care and concern for caring for dogs of all sizes and needs.
* Professional Pet care industry experience preferred
* 2 years of office management experience
Must be comfortable working in Excel
