As an Analytics Insights professional within PepsiCo, you must demonstrate the ability to become a trusted advisor and thought leader to business, brand and innovation leaders.This individual will provide analytic support for the marketing organization within North America Beverages (PBC). They will work closely with brand marketing, media strategy, consumer insights, and OMD to leverage analytics and drive decision making. They will also be accountable for uncovering and translating actionable, competitively advantaged insights into strategic and tactical recommendations that drive business growth. Additionally, the Senior Manager, Media Analytics will have significant opportunity to collaborate with senior management to solve critical business issues.
The Senior Manager, Media Analytics is responsible for delivering against an agenda of driving significant improvement in media performance by leveraging media analytics/insights and driving these into the weekly planning with media strategy and OMD.
Responsibilities will include:
Setting guidelines and monitoring reach and frequency execution
CPM guardrails tracking and exceptions
Establishing standards of execution on digital viewability and developing recommendations as to how to improve based on site performance,
Working with Media Strategy and operations to implement a programmatic strategy
Develop and execute a Test & Learn agenda and cadence inclusive of Next/New framework
The ideal candidate will apply best practice analytics, tools, and approaches that will enable to Pepsi Beverages Company to significantly improve its media ROI.The candidate should have a native understanding of media planning and constantly challenging the status quo to drive innovation across Analytics and Media Strategy.Strong communication skills are critical to success in this role.This role will require coordination across a number of external and internal stakeholders - it will require the candidate to work efficiently and effectively - building on the feedback of cross functional partners and aligning multi-disciplinary teams.
Set and lead an analytics insights agenda across multiple functions and stakeholders by proactively identifying opportunities and risks against business and marketing objectives (B1+)
Identify new research/analytics methods to solve complex business problems, and perform in-depth analysis and data mining to uncover drivers of performance.
Assess and leverage new ways to visualize data in order to identify issues & opportunities faster
Drive world class analytic and foresight rigor to ensure the organization is applying the best data & quantitative techniques to inform the most actionable business recommendations
Support/define growth strategies by developing a knowledge base of best practices and principles around market dynamics, pricing, media, new products, and brand health/equity
Media Analytics
Establish linkages between marketing spending and short term (sales) and longer term (equity) metrics and how they are related.
Drive organization effectiveness with a passion for continuous improvement by leading and evolving the way we track and analyze Media Impact (both short and long term)
Drive understanding of how digital works and the impact it has to both sales and engagement/equity by leveraging passive data sources (social discussions)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with applying syndicated data, applying advanced statistical models to CPG business issues. (not applicable to consumer/digital analytics)
Proven collaboration abilities, strategic thinking and leadership skills
Must demonstrate both analytical and creative thinking abilities
Strong consulting skills
Exceptional communicator (verbally and written) - Ability to tell a story, synthesize and convey key messages and present in a visual and compelling way
Ability to influence within a highly-matrixed global environment
Excellent Project Management skills
Proven dexterity with complex data
Strategic agenda setting capability
Media planning and buying experience and analytic application with demonstrated impact to improving business performance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
2+ years digital/social media analytics experience
Experience with Marketing Mix Analytics
MMR or MBA
Consulting background
Blend of Client & Supplier side experience
