Providence is calling a Per Diem, evening shift, Environmental Services Technician to Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center Torrance in Torrance, CA.
In this position you will:
Under general supervision, responsible to complete job duties according to assigned task analysis.
May move furniture, equipment and supplies, in and around hospital departments.
Perform a variety of environmental services duties in order to maintain the facilities in a safe, neat and clean environment for the protection of patients, visitors and staff.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Ability to establish and maintain a courteous and cooperative (service-oriented) working relationship with patients, families, visitors, hospital staff and co-workers.
Ability to fluently speak, read, write and understand the English language.
Ability to perform basic calculations.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Six months institutional housekeeping preparation experience.
