Scheduling Clerk (FT) - Appointments

Responsible for the scheduling of patients with the medical staff of the clinic. Perform other clerical and switchboard duties as needed.Education - High School Diploma or GED required Experience: - Experience in healthcare or medical related environment preferred - Able to follow directions or follow department standards when no directions are given - Personal computer experience required, especially Microsoft Office Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge of general computer applications.
