Warehouse Area Manager

Position: Warehouse Area Manager
Location: Los Angeles International Airport

Calling all Warehouse Managers! Do you have a passion for logistics in retail? Are you a natural leader? Do you have strong skills in organization and process? Do you excel in a challenging and changing environment?

Our Company is transforming the travel experience. With a network of over 250 stores in airports throughout North America and the Caribbean, we are on the lookout for an Area Warehouse Manager supporting our retail locations within Los Angeles International Airport.

THE POSITION:

Reporting to the Regional Director of Operations for LAX, your goal is to ensure that processes are maintained to optimized stock flow to our store locations; including confirming incoming products are received per company policy, checked, sorted and delivered to stores in a timely fashion. Additionally committing to the organization of documentation, and product returns as well as inventory controls; to own and operate all aspects of warehousing operations. You will supervise and coach staff to meet company standards and expectations, and train staff members as required, providing timely and effectively feedback.

You will:
* Supervise, coach, and train staff to meet company standards and expectations
* Ensure that products are received and provided to stores to optimize replenishment and in-stock ratios in stores
* Ensure proper procedures for transfers and returns along with appropriate reporting
* The ideal candidate must have good mathematical skills as well as good communication, organizational and supervisory skills.


THE PERSON:

The ideal candidate will have:
* A proven leader, possessing great communication, organizational and coaching skills.
* A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a warehouse management position
* Ability to work independently to drive results and be part of a diverse retail team
* Good time management and strong problem solving skills
* The ability to lift heavy products repeatedly, stand for long periods of time, and operate office equipment, ladders and hand trucks
* Ability to be flexible in your schedule to support the needs of the business on mornings, evenings, nights and weekends
