Position Summary: Responsible for handling inbound (and outbound) customer service and sales calls. This is a seasonal opportunity. We anticipate that the assignment will run from October through January 2016. Apply on-line here! Position is located at our corporate offices located at: 7021 Wolftown Hood Road, Madison VA 22727. Candidates local to the Madison VA and surrounding area only please.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
* Handling both inbound as well as outbound calls as assigned.
* For every call agent is required to be polite, positive and helpful.
* Key performance requirement for this position focuses on sales. For every sales call agents are required to make cross-sell suggestions and offer wrap-ups. Agents must maximize the opportunity to capture customers' email addresses for shipping confirmation emails and marketing purposes
* Agent should understand demands of call center scheduling and must be flexible to accommodate business needs. Agent attendance and adherence to schedule is critical to the success of the company.
* Phone agents must be comfortable with computers and navigating the internet.
* Expected to control the call and responsible for a positive sales outcome with limited assistance for the majority of contacts.
* Should demonstrate an increasing ability to independently handle service-based questions and strive for first-contact resolution.
* Must be able to correspond to emails and chats in a professional and friendly manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
The requirements listed below represent the minimum knowledge, skill, and/or ability required, to perform job function:
* High School diploma or equivalent
* Some post-secondary education will be considered an asset.
* Previous inbound call center or customer service experience preferred.
* Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
* Prior work experience required.
* Proficiency in various personal applications, such as Microsoft Office.
* Typing speed of 25wpm+
* Demonstrated ability to problem-solve.
This is a temporary/seasonal opportunity. Candidates local to Madison Virginia and surrounding counties only please. Pre-hire testing is required with this position. Assignment will likely run from October 2015 through January 2016. Multiple shift options are available.
