Key responsibilities include:
* Directs food service operations within the community including all food preparation, dining room operations and dining delivery services
* Purchasing all food and managing inventory, ensuring effective cost controls and vendor service and quality
* Actively preparing meals, ordering food, planning the menu, checking in food delivery, and managing dietary needs
* Training, managing and scheduling of staff to ensure that excellent customer service is provided
* Ensures the highest nutrition and food quality for the health and pleasure of the residents and complying with all federal, state and local regulations to ensure sanitary and safe operations
* Develops and directs cost control systems, and submits department budget to Regional Dining Director

We seek the following principal qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED
* Five years of dining services management experience
* Strong management and culinary skills is a must
* Current ServSafe Certification preferred
* Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public
* Flexibility with schedule
* Must have compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly
