Primary Responsibilities:

Lead or help develop program or project scope statements, in consultation with applicable stakeholders (e.g., program/project charter, Statement of ---Work, Business Vision Document)
Work with resource managers to drive the identification of the skills, duration and effort required for successful project execution
Collect, analyze and maintain financial forecast information (e.g., labor, hardware, software), using input from applicable sources
Establish/apply quality objectives, criteria, standards and levels using appropriate quality management methods, with stakeholder input (e.g., key performance indicators, scope definition)
Develop, communicate and implement program/project risk/issue management plans and strategies (e.g., mitigation, avoidance, transfer, acceptance)
Development of new clinical programs within evidence-based guidelines to drive improved quality and more affordable health care
Identification and management of unfavorable medical cost trends through provider and physician intervention programs
Improvement and design of new operational processes to address defects through the application of industry accepted tools (i.e. PMI, Total Quality Management, Six Sigma Methodologies, etc.)
Implementation of new medical policies based on evidence based guidelines and the implementation of federal healthcare reform legislation
Identify clinical quality, utilization and cost trends to identify project pipeline opportunities for quality and affordability improvement
Drive the prioritization of key activities and associated interventions, measure the prospective impact of proposed interventions, and analyze the qualitative and quantitative impact of previously implemented programs
Prepare reports, correspondence and oral presentations to document and communicate findings and outcomes of analysis and projects to internal and external teams, committees and regulatory audiences
Analyze data and evaluate the feasibility, cost benefit and effectiveness of operational programs
Define, manage and implement projects in a timely and cost-effective manner, assisting overall department objectives to be met annually
Collaborate with segment partners throughout the Company for purposes of information sharing and dissemination
Utilize process improvement methodologies including lean, Six Sigma, and Project Management Body of Knowledge

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business or a healthcare field with 3- 5 years of related experience
Proven experience and success in all areas of project management lifecycle for business projects
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio)
2+ years of project management experience
2+ years of experience in tracking, planning projects, working with large data sets and making data-driven analytical decisions
Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely to leadership
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance multiple priorities and projects
Preferred Qualifications:

Healthcare and/or clinical background
