The Young Adult Internship Program (YAIP) at Catholic Charities is now accepting applications for their paid internship program.
ELIGIBILITY: You must be
* NOT WORKING AND NOT IN SCHOOL
* 16-24 years old
* NYC resident
* Legally eligible to work in the US
Start Date: Tuesday, July 5, 2016.
Duration: 14 weeks
Pay Rate: $9.00/hour, 25 hours/week -- totaling $3,150.
Location: Orientation and Weekly Workshops in Astoria, Queens; Internships located in Queens, Manhattan, or Brooklyn Program:
Selected interns will attend 3 weeks of orientation and will be matched to an internship that best fits their interests and abilities. Internships are in various sectors, including construction, law, medical, child care, office & admin, non-profit, fashion, customer service, and more! After the 14 weeks, interns will continue to receive employment and education support, totaling a full year.
