Manufacturing Engineer - Full-time / Part-time

Job Description: Candidate is expected to implement process improvements through development and implementation of cost effective manufacturing processes and methods, Improvements in Production processes, methods and controls, as well as coordinates manufacturing launch for new or revised products.

Work Environment: Working on the shop floor 70% of the time, and 30% of the time behind a desk with documentation.

Machining environment with Press Brake, Bench forming, Drill Press, Welding, Lathe, Mill

Qualifications:

-5+ years Manufacturing Exerience

-BSME or BSIE

-Machine Shop Background (Sheet Metal Fabrication)

-Lean manufacturing skills including Six Sigma, Writing SOP's, Time Studies, Root Cause Analysis

-High initiative, Excellent verbal and written communication, Experience with ERP System

Plusses:

-PPAP experience

-Working with vendors

-Design experience (Inventor and AutoCad)

-Experience with Return on Investments, Capital improvement projects
