As the Health Care Economics Analyst, you will design and develop reports and analyze data to measure clinical outcomes, network performance and methodology levers. You will investigate key business problems through quantitative analyses of utilization and health care costs data. Along with your team, you will identify potential areas for medical cost improvements and alternative pricing strategies. Extracting the relevant data from data warehouse
Analyzing the data for accuracy and completeness
Developing / enhancing standardized reports to go out to the providers
Documenting and communicating work flow and methodologies used
Streamline and enhance existing programs and processes

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
2 years of data analysis and reporting experience
At least an intermediate level of proficiency working with MS Excel including formulas, calculations, charts, graphs, etc.
Basic level of proficiency with Access
Intermediate level of proficiency in performing data analytics
Ability to quickly learn and use computer software tools effectively
Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years of health care experience
At least a year of SAS programming experience
