Our client in Bellmawr, NJ has an immediate opening for an experienced Wire Processor. Please submit your resume in Word format. Hours 7:00 am - 4:00 pm and 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. GENERAL OVERVIEW Entry Level Wire Processor position designed for training and development of a Wire Cutter. This position is designed to evaluate fundamental work ethics, eagerness to learn, and overall position ability. An evaluation of performance for the requirements of Assembler will be given 6 months after achieving the Wire Processor WP-1 position. PRIOR SKILLS PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Able to lift up to 50 pounds Able to stand on your feet for 8 hours Able to raise arms above head Able to perform repetitive movements with arms and legs Able to differentiate colors KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS Able to perform basic math calculations Able to read a ruler Able to read/write plain English Intermediate computer skills DEPENDABILITY Be present for scheduled work hours and ready to work before your starting time. Remain in your work area until your ending time. Must keep absenteeism down to company guidelines according to employee manual. Must be flexible such that the job schedule can be maintained. 2. KNOWLEDGE OF POSITION Must be developing knowledge/skills of the following during probationary period. Factory Fit/Street Rod Division processes Differentiate between HEI, DI, PI. Program slug setting Recording scrap wire Completing daily Quality Checks for machine accuracy Harness Application (Year, Model, Type) 3. QUALITY OF WORK Must complete work with quality and accuracy; minimal error. 4 QUANTITY OF WORK Must work in a timely manner and be developing skills of efficiency. Must be clocked on Jobs 7 hours out of an 8-hour day. Must be striving to meet or reduce time allocated to each job. Must keep supervisor well informed off any production problems. 5 FOLLOWS DIRECTION Must understand and retain instructions and information without hesitation. 6 INITIATIVE Must strive to be a self starter, and begin exploring ways for improved processes.
