Expeditor / Buyer needed for a direct hire opportunity with Yoh's Industrial Manufacturing client located in Charlotte, NC.

Top skills you should possess:

- Experience in procuring industrial machinery and materials within North and South America.
- Key words: EPC, engineering, consulting, procurement, construction,machinery

What You'll Be Doing:

- Expeditor / Buyer is responsible for all client interface and coordination involving communication of technical and commercial subjects.
- Expeditor / Buyer will perform purchasing activities for client including technical communications with client and suppliers
- Establish effective relations with key vendors and develop new sources of supply as necessary to maintain competitiveness and flexibility in pricing and availability.
- Expeditor / Buyer Oversee and participate in applicable vendor negotiations with respect to scheduling, pricing, commercial terms and conditions, as necessary.
- Travel, both domestic and international, as required to carry out assigned duties.
- Expeditor / Buyer Effect or coordinate field expediting requirements as directed by management and/or clients.
- Expeditor / Buyer as client requires, expedite purchase orders for the purpose of maintaining or improving scheduled/planned shipments/deliveries of equipment or parts ordered.
- Expeditor / Buyer will conduct activities with adherence to ISO 9001 procedures.
- Other duties as requested by the Manager - KSL ­Procurement Services

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

- NO MORE than ten years of experience in industrial purchasing and purchasing support activities, both domestic and international.
- Proven ability to effectively conduct negotiations with vendors.
- Ability to effectively interface with both suppliers and clients.
- Ability to effectively interface with sales staff and corporate management.
