About this job
This is an industrial electrician position that performs essential electrical and mechanical preventative maintenance and repairs to industrial equipment in a 300k+ sqft manufacturing facility. This is a critical role in maximizing efficiencies and operational productivity by minimizing unplanned downtime in all departments, thus helping to ensure our customer's needs are met on time and quality standards are upheld.
Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment utilizing schematics and blueprints, manufacturer's specification data sheets, multi-meter, and PLC's. Help to maintain a safe work environment by performing maintenance tasks and repairs to the facility and equipment as required. May lead, train and direct the work of others. Installs, adjusts, and troubleshoots AC/DC motors, drives, PLC components, scanners, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, air compressors, chillers and building systems, fans, light curtains, and other related controls utilizing all provided shop tools. Maintains accurate preventative maintenance records, including labor, time and inventory for all work performed throughout division's departments utilizing the TMS computer system. Performs other duties as assigned. Understands the urgency of minimizing equipment downtime at all times. Overtime and weekend hours may be assigned
