This is an Other Personal Service (OPS) position with limited benefits.

Description of duties
This position is within the Aquatic Habitat Restoration/Enhancement Subsection (AHRE) of the Aquatic Habitat Restoration and Conservation Section.
Duties include but are not limited to ordering all supplies for the Eustis Fisheries Lab and other projects at the facility. Enters p-card charges for personnel of various projects. Organizes and maintains a systematic filing of correspondence and project reports.
Processes invoices and purchase order requests, purchasing cards and contractual payments. Maintains current budget analysis and reconciles and provides monthly expenditure reports. Maintains and updates hard copy and/or electronic files on all project related actions. Assists staff with questions regarding established policies and procedures to ensure compliance with State Regulations, internal management policies and procedures regarding administrative paperwork, budgets or clerical matters.
Answers telephone calls, deals with incoming calls for multiple Divisions within the Eustis Fisheries Lab. Works with a computer, requires proficiency with word processing software, spreadsheets and accounting software. Operates printers, copiers, fax machines and scanners; maintains adequate office supplies, agency forms, literature and informational materials necessary to ensure continuity in office operations. Maintains personal calendar in Outlook.
Responds to public requests for information and literature, and handles incoming mail, including opening and distributing mail.
Processes travel reimbursements.
Maintains current information of division policies and programs and processes routine matters within established policies.
Reviews records and reports which require action and recommends solutions or courses of action.
Ability to collect, evaluate, and analyze data relating to administrative functions such as accounting, personnel, purchasing or report writing; to prepare correspondence and administrative reports; understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures; utilize problem solving techniques; work independently; plan, organize; communicate effectively verbally and in writing; establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
Courteously assists Commission constituents to resolve questions or problems relating to the Commission, its programs or fish and wildlife conservation issues. Seeks to garner public support for agency objectives and programs by serving Florida's citizens in a positive and proactive manner.
Performs special assignments and report preparation as directed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Proficient in the use of Windows Office programs.
Knowledge of administrative principles and practices.
Knowledge of office procedures and practices.
Knowledge of the principles and techniques of effective communication.
