To ensure clerical support to physicians and nursing staff with designated responsibilities to providing reception, PBX, appointment scheduling, medical records, and related activities of the reception area and front desk.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
Performs receptionist duties as assigned.
Performs data entry where assigned.
Performs cashier duties as appropriate.
Phone calls and appointment scheduling
Manages medical records as needed.
Participates in organizational professional activities.
Demonstrates knowledge of special needs and behaviors of specific age groups.
8.1 Obtains authorizations for appointments when needed.
8.2 Obtains authorizations for out patient procedures.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
Education: High school education
Other: Skills in office operation and medical terminology. Organizational skills a must.
