Houseman - Full-time

We currently have an opportunity for a full time Custodian/Houseman at Central New Jersey's premier independent living community. Our community prides itself on our many amenities and our quality of services and facilities, in a friendly, energetic environment. Our candidate will be team-oriented and dedicated to providing excellent service to the residents of our community. Experience is not required, but is a plus. Must possess good communication skills. Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions and directions in English is required. The Custodian/Houseman will: * Be responsible for general cleaning of assigned areas. Duties will include vacuuming, dusting, and floor cleaning. * Carry out special cleaning projects/tasks. * Ensure that the highest cleanliness standards are met. * Follow all health and safety procedures; knowledge of cleaning chemicals a plus. * Be required to bend, and lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. Must be able to remain on one's feet for extended periods of time. * Be required to work in a pet-friendly environment. Criminal background check required.
