We have an opening for our 2016 Summer Internship Program in Engineering. Our internship will provide student interns with practical work experience designed to expand their classroom education and career path as they prepare for a profession in the field of Network Planning Engineering.

Responsibilities:

* Review and analyze capacity and utilization for a variety of elements from all Legacy Companies

* Prepare lists of potential recommendations for appropriate Capacity Managers actions

* Review and analyze capacity and utilization data extracted from legacy systems:

* ASPEN

* BBC

* WORPM

* LFACS

* POLL DSLAM

* Analyze available inventory in LFACS, TIRKS, OSP/FM, EWO, Martens, Fireworks/Bid-master, WORPM, ASPEN, POLL DSLAM systems

* Has a desire to learn the technical aspects of the organization -- seeks opportunities to expand knowledge base

* Prepare and communicate recommendations, both oral and written, for solutions to network capacity problem areas

* Ability to work in a consultant role by establishing rapport, interviewing, fact finding, presenting options, recommending solutions, following-up and providing customer focused behavior.

* Assumes accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks

* Works effectively and cooperatively with others -- shares information, involves others in decision making

* Clearly conveys information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals and groups

Minimum Qualifications:

* Proficient Auto Cad, Microsoft Office and Advanced Internet and Outlook

* Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines

* Highly motivated, organized, reliable and detailed oriented

* Strong written and verbal communications skills

* Capable of multi-taking efficiently

* Quick learner and not afraid to work with new computer based programs and databases

* Professional appearance and attitude

Job Requirements Must submit a resume, transcript, and a letter of recommendation

Must have a 3.0 GPA or above

Must be currently enrolled at a 4-year accredited College or University

Junior, Senior or Graduate student

Must work 30-40 hours per week during the 10 week session
