Store Planning- Merchandising Home, Watches & Accessories - Full-time

Job Overview :

Responsible for supporting the Directors of Store Design/Merchandising with coordination of all Vendor Brand, Private Shops projects, taking responsibility and ownership for approximately 15% of the workload of your assigned FOB Director (Family of Business). Assist in Managing, development and distribution of all plans, fixture requirements and data reports. Communication with regions and districts on projects, survey information, etc. Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions:

• Regular, dependable attendance & punctuality
• Support your assigned FOB Director across all projects by participating in the following:
• Assist in the development and communication of Vendor/GMM Projects both internally and externally though development of location and merchandise plans with respect to scope, schedule and budget for assigned projects.
• Collect and develop location plans for all assigned Vendor/GMM projects. This includes but is not limited to direct contact and communication with the Regional and District teams as well as the Central merchant/planning teams.
• Perform site surveys and documents as required
• Maintain and update C-star reporting system for all assigned Vendor/GMM projects.
• Participate in and be responsible for accurate reporting in regularly scheduled GMM update meetings
• Manage and be accountable for communications with our Vendor partners, Construction team as well as the Merchandise Execution VP's and Directors of Creative Planning.
• Develop plans, elevations and details as required.
• Review and approve vendor shop plans, elevations and details as required.
• Foster, develop and maintain close partnerships with Vendor contacts

Qualifications :

Education/Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a discipline of the Arts (Architecture, Interior Design, etc.)
• 1-3 years of knowledge and related experience in Department store retail development/store planning or retail wholesale store development/store planning a plus.

Communication Skills

• Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents such as reports and procedure manuals. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Mathematicals Skills

• Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents such as reports and procedure manuals. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Reasoning Ability

• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks with convergent timelines
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to assist in managing several projects at once

Physical Demands

• This position requires regular walking, standing, hearing, and talking. May occasionally be required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. Vision abilities include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Other Skills

• Strong leadership profile and excellent negotiation skills.
• Expertise in AutoCAD
• Strong proficiency in Word and Excel

Work Hours

• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and store/company needs.
