Providence is calling a Pediatric Registered Nurse to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, WA.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate nursing care to children from newborns to teens and their families.

This is a .5 FTE Day shift positions, with 26 hours one week and 24 hours the next, 8 hour shifts, Monday-Friday.

In this position you will:

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care needs for mother and baby. Demonstrate strong teaching and communication skills with mothers, family members, and the care team.

Demonstrate critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Required qualifications for this position include:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Washington State.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).

Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

Current Pediatric Nurse (CPN) certification.

Experience as an RN in Pediatrics.
